Join us when we visit the land of fire and ice. There are few places on this planet that is as unique as Iceland. This relatively new country is known for its glaciers, lava fields and of course its mighty waterfalls. 
During this long week we will capture the beauties of the short Icelandic fall. We will visit mighty waterfalls as well as black sand beaches, we will also visit the unique Icelandic highlands. If you ever wanted to see the kind of landscape you have seen in Game of Thrones, Star Wars or even Prometheus, this is the place to go. Iceland gold mine for us landscape photographers! So what are you waiting for? 

If the weather aligns both at Iceland and in space align, we will most certainly capture some northern lights as well!


about iceland

Iceland is nordic country with a population of 335 000. The majority of the people lives in the capital Reykjavik. The country is famous for its volcanos, glaciers and hot springs. It is not a surprise that one of the major industries are geothermal power. In addition to the geothermal power industry, Iceland also lives well of tourism and fish processing. Did you know that the landscape in Iceland has attracted Hollywood as well? Movies like Batman Begins, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Interstellar and Prometheus has been partially recorded in Iceland. And it is also worth mentioning that some scenes of Game of Thrones also is filmed here.

This workshop will be held during the autumn, so Iceland will dressed in a variety of hues ranging from green to yellow and red.
Iceland is also known as the saga island, and for good reason. The country is famous for its tales about vikings and elves. We are going to Iceland for the beautiful landscape and of course the wide span of different light.

Even is our shooting star of Instagram. Since he picked up a camera a few years ago he has been featured by Instagram as well as local and national newspapers in Norway. 

Even also bears the title as brand ambassador for Manfrotto.



Roy Einar is our head scout and globetrotter. This guy knows about local gems, few locals even know about. Roy will take us beyond the highlights you have seen a thousands times before.



Tor-Ivar has been featured both by national and international newspapers . In addition he has been nominated Astrophotographer of the Year by the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, London. Tor will teach you some neat tricks in Lightroom and Photoshop.

Tor-Ivar is today brand ambassador for the Norwegian shoe producers Alfa Sko.



Day 1 - meet and greet

We meet up at Keflavik during the early afternoon hours Friday the 12th. We then make our way to Grundarfjörður for a meet and greet. Here we will enjoy a nice meal together and get to know eachother a bit before spending the week together.
During this meet and greet we will talk about how this week will be in more detail than this itinerary, as well as our approach to photography and post-processing. After this meal we set course to Grundarfjörður in Snaefellsnes peninsula. 


day 2 -  Snaefellsnes peninsula

This Saturday will be spent at the wildly beautiful Snaefellsnes peninsula with the attractions like Kirkjufell, Londrangar and Arnarstapi. 


day 3 - geysir and waterfalls

We will slowly start our journey towards the south coast of Iceland. Highlights this day we will be the geysir Strokkur, the amazingly blue Brúarfoss and Gullfoss. 


day 4 - Waterfall bonanza

As we take on the south coast of the saga island. We will visit the wildly popular Seljalandsfoss as well as the might Skógafoss to name the classics. This will be the great waterfall day.


day 5-7 - Cruisin´ the south coast

The south coast of Iceland is full of gems and these days will be spent visiting many location in the vicinity of the town of Vik. We will also visit places like the canyon at Fjaðrárgljúfur and the viking waterfall Svartifoss. If the weather allows it we will go on a ice cave tour as well. 



Included: Photo guiding, transportation, accommodation a long the way, breakfast where included*,  post-processing sessions as well as any in-field tutoring. 
Not Included: Any travel services required for arriving and departing at and from the Keflavik airport (KEF). Personal insurances, any meals*, snacks, drinks, gratitudes and souvenirs.

* We will dine together along the way. There will also be many opportunities to buy necessary groceries and snacks on the way.

Price: 3390 EURO
Based on double occupancy. You will be sharing the room with someone of your gender, unless anything else is agreed upon.
If you insist on a single room, it is an additional cost. Full payment due July 12th.
Deposit: 800 EURO. The deposit is non-refundable.
Arrival: Kefla Airport. October 12th, no later than 4pm.
Departure: Keflavik Airport. October 19th, after 1pm.
